It all started with a simple problem my mum kept running into — trying to get hold of local beauty businesses. She’d call, leave messages, and rarely get a call back. I was shocked that this problem existed with the state of modern technology so I investigated further.
After spending hours talking to local salons and small businesses, I realised the issue was bigger than it seemed. Most owners were trying to juggle everything, how to serve clients and answer the phone at the same time. The result? Missed calls, lost bookings, stressed teams, and frustrated customers.
That’s when it clicked: with my background in AI, I could actually solve this. A real solution that didn’t rely on expensive human receptionists, but could still offer the same personal touch.
From that idea, I founded FrontDesk2.0 and put together a small team here in Tunbridge Wells. We’ve spent months building, testing, and refining AI agents, analysing real call transcripts, and talking to countless business owners.
